Unitarity Corrections to the Drell-Yan Process in the Target Rest Frame

The unitarity corrections effects encoded in the Glauber-Mueller approach are taken into account to calculate the differential cross sections in the DrellYan process in the rest frame. A detailed study of the Drell-Yan process in terms of the γ∗q transverse separation and the color dipole size, and of the effective dipole cross section, is performed and compared with the available small x data. Estimates for the Drell-Yan cross section at RHIC energies are presented and discussed. 13.85.Qk; 12.38.Bx; 12.38.Aw.
